| Precision Blasting was hired by Plateau Excavation to assist with the grading and infrastructure needs when rock was encountered on the job at the Kraft Foods Mega Warehouse Distribution Center in Union City GA. This 960,000 square foot warehouse will be located on a build-to-suit facility on a 192 acre site in a master-planned industrial business park. Precision Blasting worked not only with Plateau Excavation personnel, but also with the general contractor Commerce Construction Company and Crawford Pipeline, the sanitary sewer subcontractor. Mass rock, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, waterline and underground power line rock were involved in this job. Precision Blasting has performed contracted blasting services since January 2010 and had a contract in place to drill and blast rock for a future waterline to be installed. |
