FURUKAWA 1450 ROCK DRILLS

Precision Blasting’s drill fleet includes two  Furukawa 1450 rock drills.  These rock drills provide a combination of high-performance and heavy duty drilling power. The 1450 is ideal for large projects with demanding schedules.

SANDVIK TAMROCK RANGER DX800 ROCK DRILLS
The Mark - 12The Sandvik Tamrock Ranger DX800’s are hydraulic, self-propelled, self-contained, crawler-based surface rig. The DX 800’s revolving superstructure, power, precision and versatility make them ideal for Precision Blasting Customer’s different project scopes.

ATLAS COPCO FLEXIROC T35 ROCK DRILLS
Pebblebrook - 1The FlexiROC T35 is a flexible and versatile top hammer    drill rig, developed and designed for high performance in demanding construction applications. The T35 has a long boom reach and low center of gravity which make it ideal for rugged terrain conditions.
INGERSOLL RAND ATLAS COPCO 590RC

Our “workhorse” drills are for medium or large jobs where location and terrain cannot accommodate a cab drill.  The rod changer models allow us to accommodate drill depth to 69 feet.
ATLAS COPCO T40 AND T45 CAB DRILLS
The Atlas Copco T40 and T45 SmartROC drill rigs are built for high productivity.  The SmartROC T40 and T45 are equipped with a rock drill control system that allows for proportional control feed, torque and impact in difficult rock formations.
ATLAS COPCO FlexiROC T20

The FlexiROC T20 drill rig is a flexible and compact drill that is ideal for relatively small construction jobs, trench drilling and rock reinforcement applications.  The T20 is a remote controlled walk-beside drill that can access tight jobsite, it is also equipped with rubber tires making it excellent for asphalt applications.

Our hydraulic hammer setup is primarily used in the reduction of boulder size and for rock removal where blasting cannot be performed.  These situations would include:

  • Extreme close proximity to houses in a developed subdivision or close proximity to gas or petroleum transport lines
  • Buried telephone/fiber optic banks or power lines
  • Inside buildings where concrete removal may be necessary

CAT 330 HammerThe CAT 330 hydraulic hammer has an impact energy rating of 5,000 ft per lb which allows for fast, efficient rock breaking and removal.

Precision Blasting’s second hydraulic rock hammer gives us the flexibility to meet our customer’s needs with a very quick turnaround time. 

 

 

 
BULK EMULSION TRUCK

Bulk Emulsion Truck - 1Precision Blasting’s bulk emulsion truck is capable of hauling 20,000 lbs of bulk emulsion product. The larger tank enables us to serve bigger projects more efficiently keeping up with our customer’s scheduling needs.

Precision Blasting’s bulk emulsion truck has the capacity to hold 10,000 lbs of bulk emulsion product. Having multiple bulk emulsion trucks allows us to service multiple projects simultaneously without negatively impacting our customer’s project schedules.

Precision Blasting’s newest bulk truck can hold up to 10,000 of bulk emulsion product. Having a second 10,000 lb truck increases our ability to service our customers and their tight project schedules. 
MINI-PUMPER EMULSION TRUCK
Bulk emulsion truck - mini pumperPrecision Blasting’s mini-pumper emulsion truck is capable of hauling 5,000 lbs of bulk emulsion product.
IN-HOUSE MECHANIC
Our in-house mechanic’s expertise eliminates any prolonged truck or drill downtime.

PRECISION BLASTING FLEET
Precision Blasting maintains a new equipment fleet including drill trucks, blasting trucks and drills.

  • Our truck fleet consists of four-wheel drive vehicles which offer access to all terrain.
  • Explosive trucks are DOT licensed and equipped with IME approved explosive and cap boxes.
  • All trucks are fully insured and driven only by properly trained personnel with a Commercial Drivers License.
